Our technology
Mistponics + Polyculture + NACAR
Three things, working together. Each exists elsewhere in some form; the combination is ours, and it is what makes it possible to grow a wide variety of specialty produce, at small scale, in climates where that produce normally has to be flown in.

01
Mistponics
Roots in mist, not in water or soil
A stainless nozzle fogs the root zone at 10–60 microns. Roots sit in air, take up exactly what they are given, and never stand in water — which is why the same tower grows a delicate herb and a fruiting crop, and why the system uses about 5 litres per plant instead of 100–150 in soil.

Polyculture
50+ crops in one system, at the same time
Conventional vertical farming grows one crop in one channel, because one crop is easier to control. We combine the growing method each crop prefers — mist, hydroponic, aeroponic with substrate — inside a single ecosystem, with a nursery in front and a harvest plan behind it. That is what lets a small footprint carry a whole specialty list rather than a pallet of lettuce.

03
NACAR
The nutrition that makes the mix possible
Crops with different appetites cannot share one nutrient line on N-P-K alone. NACAR is our own natural full-spectrum biostimulant — minerals, trace elements and amino acids plants recognise — so a basil and a pepper can drink from the same system and both taste like they should. Grown without pesticides.
Watch it grow
From empty towers to the chef's board, in one minute.
Planting, growth and harvest in one Urban Ponics greenhouse, then straight to the kitchen.
Why it matters
Which is why this is not a hydroponics installation with a different logo on it.
What the combination gives you
Special produce, grown where it is eaten
A wide variety, not a monoculture
Herbs, leaves, edible flowers, Asian greens, microgreens and fruiting crops from one installation.
At small scale
A tower behind a bar, a rooftop greenhouse, a greenhouse by the kitchen — sized to the property, not to a distribution centre.
In difficult climates
Desert heat, island humidity, northern winters. 11 countries and 5 continents so far.
Without the import chain
The produce that is expensive, hard to source or never arrives fresh is the produce this grows best.

Designed for the site
The same technology, shaped to the climate
A greenhouse in 50 °C desert heat and one on the Irish Atlantic coast are not the same building. These are two we have built — a shaded house in Dubai and an earth-sheltered walipini in Ireland. The structure changes completely with the site; the growing system inside it does not.
